The Shun Ken Onion line features the beautiful woodgrain look of Damascus steel also known as "suminigashi." The Damascus-look blade profile also reduces friction when cutting, resulting in cleaner cuts, faster prep times and better flavor in your foods. In addition to high performance blades, this line features curved handles to neatly nestle into the natural contours of the hand. The bellies of the blades are curved to reduce cutting fatigue and provide versatility. The wider bolster with contour curved thumb and forefinger rests reduces tension during cutting.
